Moses went to God on behalf of the people. Going to God with our wants and needs is a good thing. Telling God what He should do with these desires is dangerous. Moses wanted what the people wanted for fear of his own life and safety. He didn’t ask God what God’s desires were for the people in this situation.
Heart Check: Have you asked God what He wants for you? Have you taken on the wants and needs of others and made them your own plea?
Prayer: Father God, help me to sort out my own desires from the cries of the crowd. Let my heart take heed to what You want. Clarify my path as I follow Your lead and trust Your ways for my life.
