A New Mind

God loves who we are, but loves us too much to leave us where we are.

God has places He wants to take us, plans He wants to work through us, and glory He wants to gain on our behalf. But to go where God wants us to go, we must first trust our thoughts to Him and place our minds into His hands.

Theologian C.S. Lewis once said, "I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen. Not only because I see it, but because by it, I see everything else."

The Spirit of God is meant to bring us a new way of viewing the world. A new way of thinking. A new perspective through which we approach everything we do.

Through God's Spirit, we gain the power to see the world as He created it to be seen.

Pray:

God, Thank You for the new perspective You offer me through Your Spirit. I pray that my mind will not fall into the trap of settling for the meaningless input of the world around me. Help me to open my mind so that You can transform it and allow me to see the world how You see it. In Jesus' name, Amen.
