Walk this Way

Two people can't walk together if they're not in agreement.

Our job is not to fix broken people. We were never meant to complete another person. Only Jesus has the power to do that. And, in fact, that's what Jesus does for everyone who accepts Him as their Savior.

When two imperfect people attempt to become whole through their own relationship, they ultimately wind up tearing each other apart, pulling in different directions, taking what they need and leaving each other with even more broken and scarred places.

However, when two people come together and put Christ at the center of their relationship, they are able to link arms and walk forward together, carrying twice the power either of them had before.

The more we learn to walk this way - together with Christ - the stronger we'll become.

Pray:

Heavenly Father, make me whole through Your love. I want to follow You and You alone. Give me the grace I need to add value to my closest relationships without tearing anyone else apart. Use me to show people how to find their completion in You, not me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
