Reading the Bible in Historical Sequence Part 2Egzanp

Feeling remorseful, and without God’s blessing, the Hebrews attack nearby villages but are soundly beaten back. Moses writes a psalm. In 1489 BC a Levite named Korah leads a rebellious group against Moses and many die at God’s hand.
Note Numbers 33:36: They made Kadesh, near the border of Edom, a base camp (Numbers 20:1; Judges 11:17). This was south of Kadesh-Barnea from which they reconnoitered the land of Canaan. Kadesh-Barnea (Kadesh = holiness, Barnea = fickle son) was on the edge of the wilderness of Zin (= to prick).
