GENERATION 31: Becoming The Bride That Changes The WorldEgzanp

One truth we could all easily admit: God knows way more than us. He searches the depths of our hearts, understands what words will give life to us and what will chip at our souls. He knows what to say, when to say it, and how to tell us when we’re taking steps in the wrong direction, when we’re loved, and when hope is on the horizon. God’s wisdom has been a part of Himself, and His greatest “engagement gift”, so to speak, is that wisdom shared with us through the presence of the Holy Spirit in us.

As we’re made One with Christ, we allow His thought processes, His ways, His life to spread out and make a home inside of us. Just as one spouse begins to take on the problem-solving methods and idioms of the other, our words and wisdom reflect the words and wisdom of our Bridegroom. Only intimacy and time spent in communion with Jesus can truly bring about a change in our vocabulary that shifts right down to the heart in which the words and the wisdom are given.

How can you let Jesus invade your conversations today? Ask the Holy Spirit to commune with you as you speak into the lives of others. A kind Church is a Church that can break down even the toughest of walls.
