Day 2 – Wildfire

You and me everything before us

Can’t you see our God is always for us

Don’t be afraid don’t be paralyzed

It’s time to live we got nothing to hide

We’re going out going out tonight

We are the light and we’re shining bright

Light it up, light it up like a wildfire

“Wildfire” is a song about living a bold life for Jesus and letting His light shine in all we do.

God has called each one of us for a purpose, to follow Him and shine His love to a world that desperately needs it. We don’t need to go far to find someone that needs the hope we have - it could be a parent, sibling, friend, coworker, or even a complete stranger! All we have to do is share the reason for the hope we have - the good news of what Jesus did for us. Sometimes we can feel uncomfortable and terrified to step out in a way we haven’t before, and sometimes striking up a conversation about Jesus can feel random or awkward, but one small step of faith can change that person’s life forever. As we live this bold life for Him, there is no stopping what He can do. The gospel will spread like a wildfire and people will glorify God for His amazing love.

Dear Lord,

I want to live a bold life for you. Give me confidence to follow where you lead and share your love with those around me. I want to see your love spread like a wildfire and change people’s lives around me.
