In John 14 Jesus encourages his disciples in the face of suffering, death, and the separation from him that awaits. “Do not let your hearts be troubled.” Why? Because Jesus is taking care of your life to come. As Jesus puts it: “I am the way, truth, and life.” Jesus is the way to God. To see Jesus is to see God. Bind yourself to Jesus if you are seeking God. He is the way to God and all he offers.
