May 27 – The Danger of Ignorance
Ignorance of Scripture is not neutral; it is dangerous. When the Word of God is unknown or neglected, people are left without guidance, protection, and understanding. Ignorance creates vulnerability.
This matters because knowledge of Scripture equips the believer to live rightly and resist error. It provides clarity, direction, and strength in the face of challenges.
When ignorance persists, destruction follows. People make wrong decisions, fall into error, and struggle unnecessarily. Without knowledge of the Word, even sincere intentions can lead to wrong outcomes.
DAILY EXERCISE
Identify one area of Scripture you lack understanding in.
Begin studying it intentionally today.
PRAYER
Father, deliver me from ignorance of Your Word. Give me understanding and insight. I pray for believers, students, leaders, and families across Nigeria that they will grow in knowledge of Scripture. Lord, we ask that across nations, ignorance will be replaced with truth. Strengthen the Church worldwide through knowledge of Your Word.
CONFESSION
I am not ignorant of God’s Word. I grow in knowledge and understanding daily.
