Rebuilding Faith After a Financial Setbackનમૂનો

Financial hardship can make you feel invisible. Like your value dropped when your credit score did. Like God’s favor skipped your bank account. But hear me: God still sees you. He’s not pacing heaven, worried about your overdraft. He’s leaning in, right where you are, ready to walk with you through the comeback.
Welcome to Day 1: God Still Sees You—Your value isn’t tied to your bank account.
When Jesus talked about sparrows, He wasn’t making small talk. He was reminding us that our worth isn’t tied to how much we earn or what we’ve lost. You are not your debt. You are not your eviction. You are not your credit score. You are not your mistake.
You are deeply seen and loved by a God who specializes in restoring what was broken.
I can empathize with what it’s like to hit what feels like rock bottom. To cry over late notices and feel like faith is slipping. But rock bottom is where God often starts rebuilding. That crushing debt? It doesn’t cancel out your calling. That financial loss? It doesn’t limit God’s provision.
So, today, take a breath. God hasn’t forgotten you. His presence is stronger than the pressure. Your comeback begins with remembering that you are still worthy, still called, and still covered.
You are not broken, and you are capable of rebuilding.
Let’s end Day 1 with a prayer. Please, clear your head and open your heart.
Father God,
Thank you for loving us just as we are. Thank you for the reminder that not only is this world temporary, but that our value and our worth are not dependent on worldly possessions. We were made and created by You, an all-powerful source of pure love.
We will slip. We will falter. But thank you for always being a source of refuge and respite. May we learn from our mistakes and continue to work towards building a life of love, peace, and kindness towards ourselves and others.
Amen
