Joyfully Expecting!નમૂનો

The good news is spreading
“But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.’” (Luke 2:10-11 NIV)
The Lord Jesus was born in the silence of the night. Hardly anyone noticed that the long-awaited Messiah had come into the world.
God Himself changed that. Surrounded by a majestic heavenly choir, an angel told the good news to a group of shepherds in the area. The birth of this Child was a cause for “great joy,” not only for His parents but “for all the people.” Although He now lay as a normal human baby in a makeshift crib, He would decisively change world history.
This news came as a complete surprise, but at the same time it was in line with ancient prophecies. Several meaningful titles applied to this Baby: “Savior,” “Messiah”, and “Lord.”
The shepherds immediately went to visit the newborn. Their slumbering hopes and expectations were fulfilled!
The angel had already said that Jesus' birth was good news for “all the people.” Ultimately, His coming brings salvation to the whole world throughout the ages.
At Jesus' birth, a choir of angels sang, “Glory to God in the highest.” (Luke 2:14 ESV) Their song is echoed by countless people from all nations who are redeemed by Jesus: “Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever!” (Revelation 7:12 ESV) Will you sing along with them?
About this Plan

When a woman is pregnant, she is “expecting.” What a beautiful way to describe pregnancy! After all, parents eagerly await the arrival of their child. But no child has ever been awaited as intensely and for as long as the promised Savior: Jesus Christ.
