Love Letters to Godનમૂનો

Father, I need your help! I know church work is necessary. Just as with a business, there are programs, administration, finance, meetings, etc. The work has to be done so that things run smoothly. But, when leaders won’t and others don’t, when do I get to say enough is enough? I’m constantly reminded that only what we do for you, God, will last, but what do I do when the work is just too much?

Help me Lord to find balance in you. I need your guidance and direction. I need a correct balance of work time, play time, and intimacy time. I don’t want the work and play time to outweigh our intimacy time, and I know that DEPENDS on me. Help me Lord! Help me to push everything else aside so that WE can commune together.

Five virgins were wise, meaning they were productive and worked to store up. Because of their wisdom they were saved. Then there were 5 more virgins that were not wise. They were foolish and did not store up causing them to perish. I want to be wise! Wise in my decisions and wise in my relationship with you. I put my hands on my head and ask you right now for wisdom to know and to grow in you. Help me Jesus!

Meditative Moment: Do you sometimes feel like you may not be in right standing with our Lord and savior? Feeling like you may not be all the way right in your thoughts and actions? Let’s look to the Lord and ask Him to help us grow and push towards His everlasting arms. He is our only hope and help!

Today meditate and ask God to show you what HE wants you to do, and how HE wants you to do it. Ask Him to show you how HE wants you to go up and out for His Glory. Push all the “stuff” aside and talk to Jesus!

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, we come to you now with an open heart, an open mind, and an open spirit asking you to lead and guide us through establishing the perfect balance for our lives. We don’t want to be so comfortable doing things our way that we get off course. As we put our hands on our head, we pray for wisdom, guidance, and understanding. Teach us your ways so we won’t sin against you. Help us, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
