Anchored in His Strengthનમૂનો

God Gives Strength to the Weary
“He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound].” — Isaiah 40:29 AMPC
We live in a culture that glorifies hustle. Rest feels like weakness, and exhaustion is worn as a badge of honor. But Isaiah reminds us of a better way. God is the One who gives power to the faint. He increases strength in those who admit they have none.
This is good news. Weakness is not a disqualification—it’s the very place where God meets us. When we confess our weariness, He steps in with His Power. His Strength multiplies where ours ends.
Those who “wait for and hope in” the Lord are not idle. They’re leaning into God, trusting His timing, and drawing from His Spirit. Like eagles soaring on the wind, they aren’t frantically flapping—they’re lifted by the current. Waiting on God is not wasted time; it’s the posture that allows His Strength to flow into our weakness.
Practically, this looks like slowing down enough to hear His voice, choosing prayer over panic, rest over relentless striving, and Scripture over scrolling. These small acts of trust create room for His strength to multiply in us.
You don’t have to push through in your own power. God is ready to meet your weariness with His strength.
Reflection Question:
What practical step—prayer, rest, worship, or Scripture—can you take this week to trade self-effort for God’s strength?
