Day 26: God Will Always Show You Love

Scripture
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”– John 3:16 NKJV

Affirmation
God will always love me.

Devotion
Growing up in a single-parent home, I was never short of love. My mom, as our primary caretaker, poured her heart into raising us—covering us in prayer, showing compassion, and caring for our every need. Her love was so evident that others admired the way she raised us. But our love didn’t stop there. My dad also loved us deeply, and even after my parents’ separation, we still experienced family togetherness—a reflection of God’s promise of reconciliation and the power of His love.

Yet even with the love of both parents, nothing can compare to the love God has for us. His love surpasses the best earthly love we could ever experience. John 3:16 reminds us that He loved us so much that He gave His only Son as a sacrifice for our salvation. There is no greater love than this.

Whenever you feel unloved or undervalued, remember that the Great I Am loves you unconditionally. Nothing and no one can separate you from His love. God’s love is so powerful that He will go to great lengths to draw you back to Himself so you can live in eternal relationship with Him. That is a love unmatched by anything on earth.

Today, embrace God’s love. It is everlasting, unchanging, and always working for your good. Remember: God loves you—always and forever.

Prayer
Abba Father,

I thank You for Your unfailing love. Help me never to forget that, no matter what, You love and care for me. Your love is everlasting and unshakable. Romans 5:8 reminds me that You sent Your Son to die for us while we were still sinners, providing the ultimate sacrifice for our salvation. For this reason, I thank You. I love You, Lord, because You first loved me. It is in Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
