Rooted: 30 Days to Strengthen Your Faith Through Struggleનમૂનો

WEEK 2: Planting Truth in Hard Soil
Focus: Replacing lies with the truth of God’s Word to re-root our identity.
Day 11: Grace Is Greater Than Your Past
"But where sin increased, grace increased all the more." Romans 5:20
We all have things in our lives we wish weren't there. Bad decisions. Wounds we caused and wounds we carry. The pain left by sin.
But here’s the good news: God’s grace doesn’t run out when we hit rock bottom. It overflows.
Grace doesn’t ignore sin. It covers it. With the precious blood of Jesus. A covering that makes us white as snow. Not because we deserve it or can earn it. But simply because God gives it to us in love.
When Paul wrote that grace abounds, he was speaking from experience. He knew what it meant to be a murderer and then a missionary. A persecutor and then a preacher. God took Paul’s most shameful moments and turned them into a great story of grace.
And He can do the same for you.
The enemy wants to use your past to disqualify you. God wants to use it to display His glory.
You don’t have to clean yourself up to earn grace. You only have to receive it.
So stop disqualifying yourself from the work God wants to do in and through you. His grace isn’t just greater than your past; it points you to a new hope and future in Him.
Reflection Questions:
- What guilt from your past still haunts you?
- How can you receive God’s grace more fully?
- What would change if you truly believed grace was greater than your story?

About this Plan

We often view struggle as a bad thing to be avoided. Who wants pain, right? But what if it's in the struggle that God does some of his best refining work? What if it's in the struggle we are strengthened for the journey ahead? Jesus told us we would have trials - but we can take heart because we never walk the valley's alone. Join me for 30 days as we travel through scripture and strengthen our faith together in the face of struggle.
