Anxiety Does Not Define Me: Your Identity Is in Godનમૂનો

GRATITUDE: ANXIETY DOES NOT DEFINE ME. GOD DOES.
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)
Today, you close this plan with something anxiety tried to steal from you: Clarity — the clarity that:
- Having anxiety is not a sin.
- Living with anxiety does not cancel your faith.
- Feeling anxious does not change who you are in God.
🤍 You are a daughter. Whole. Valid. Cared for.
Many Christian women carry guilt for not being “emotionally well.”
They feel shame for taking medication, for crying, or for staying silent instead of praying.
And all of this only deepens the suffering.
But today you are reminded of something essential:
Jesus carried not only your sins on the cross, but also your emotional pain.
He is a God who knows what anguish feels like.
His soul sweated drops of blood under unbearable pressure.
And even then, He does not judge you for your anxiety — He understands you.
📚 Closing Verses
- “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18 (NIV)
- “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28 (NIV)
- “My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.” — Isaiah 26:9 (NIV)
- “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” – Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)
🧠 Closing Therapeutic Practice – Restorative Gratitude Journal
Goal: End this plan focusing on small victories, God’s presence, and reconnecting with what still stands.
✍️ Write sincerely:
- One thing you learned about yourself:
“I discovered that I…” - One care from God you felt in the past days:
“God showed me that…” - One new truth about anxiety:
“Anxiety is not…” - One reason for gratitude, even in chaos:
“I give thanks because…”
🙏 Closing Prayer
God, thank You for reminding me that anxiety does not define who I am.
Thank You for being patient with me, even on the days I can barely pray.
Teach me to rest in Your care, to cast my burdens on You.
Let my identity remain firm in You, even when my mind trembles.
I am Yours. And that is enough.
Amen.
📌 Final Affirmation of the Journey
✨ “I am a daughter of God.
My mind may be restless, but my spirit remains anchored.
I am loved in every version of myself.
And I am in restoration, with God by my side.” ✨
