Still His Son: Lost, Found, and Forever Changed by God’s Loveનમૂનો

When You’ve Hurt the Ones You Love
Josh was a functioning addict—on the surface, anyway. He was working jobs, keeping up appearances, but inside, everything was unraveling. When his wife, Christina, found out she was pregnant, they got married. But the marriage was built on fear and survival, not love and trust.
Josh kept using. He hid things and lost job after job. Got into legal trouble. Christina tried everything she could to hold their family together—but nothing changed until she stopped trying to fix him and handed him over to the only One who could.
When Josh finally reached the end of himself, he entered a recovery program. For the first time in years, he came clean—really clean. It wasn’t just about sobriety. It was about becoming someone his wife and child could trust again. Someone whose words meant something. Someone who knew who he was.
Josh didn’t become a good man because he got clean. He became a good man because he remembered he was still a son—God’s son—and he started living like it.
Maybe you’ve caused pain you wish you could undo. Maybe there are people you love who don’t trust you anymore, and you don’t blame them. Maybe you’ve apologized but still carry the shame.
God sees all of it—and He still calls you His. He’s not just interested in your forgiveness. He wants to heal what’s been broken. To help you love the people in your life the way He loves you.
It’s not too late to rebuild. It’s not too far gone to restore. You are still His son.
Reflection Questions:
- Is there a relationship in your life that’s been damaged by your choices?
- What’s one small step you can take toward healing or forgiveness today?
Prayer:
God, I’ve hurt people I love and I’ve broken trust. I can’t undo the damage, but You restore what’s been lost. Teach me how to make things right. Show me how to love like You love me. When I feel unworthy of their grace—or Yours—remind me: I’m still Your son. In Jesus’ name, amen.

About this Plan

You can lose everything—your family, your freedom, your future—and still not be beyond the reach of God’s love. Still His Son isn’t about perfect lives or easy faith. It’s about men who ran hard, fell far, and discovered that even in their worst moments, God never stopped calling them “son.” These stories aren’t fairy tales—they’re soaked in grit, grace, and the kind of redemption only Jesus can bring.
