Closer Than You Think

In my life, I’ve always tried to develop a close relationship with my sons. I have an open-door policy—no judgment, no conditions. They can talk to me about anything: relationships, work, friends, struggles, even temptations. I think that’s one of the best things I did as a parent. Because of that, they trust me, and I can help them in their times of need.

If I, as a flawed human, can do that—imagine what our Heavenly Father can do! My understanding of the world is limited, no matter how intelligent or wise I try to be. But God, the Creator of everything, knows all things.

So let Him know you on a personal level. Get closer. Open your heart. No holding back, no shame. "Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
