In my experience, God has always been with me—helping me make better decisions, consoling me when I’m down, and reminding me that even when I feel alone, He is still there. Jesus said, "I am in the Father, and the Father is in me.” (John 14:11) And because He is in the Father, and the Father is in Him, He is also in us. That’s personal.

He controls everything, and everything works according to His will to shape our personal experience. "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” (James 4:8)
