Holy Spirit Conviction is a Gift:

God has given you His Spirit—the Holy Spirit. You are now the place where God dwells, and where He dwells, He desires to make you whole and perfect. As you walk with Him, there will be things in your life that you once did but will no longer feel compelled to do. You will experience a deep conviction that leads you to turn away from actions or choices that no longer align with His will for you. Whether it’s choosing not to party with friends or avoiding any other behavior that separates you from Him, the Holy Spirit will speak to you through that quiet, guiding conviction. This conviction is a good thing—it’s evidence that God is working in your life, transforming you from the inside out.

Take some time today to sit in quiet prayer and talk to Jesus. Ask Him to reveal areas of your life where you need to let go of old habits or patterns. Once He reveals them, repent—turn away from them. Repentance is a powerful act of surrender, choosing to walk in the new life God has for you. This is a beautiful gift, and it shows just how deeply God loves you.
