Pilgrims of Hope

To be a pilgrim is to keep moving forward—not perfectly, but faithfully. It is a lifelong pursuit. The path will twist, the pace will vary, but the destination never changes.

The world will try to distract you from your true identity with shame and doubt, but you are being shaped by a different hope—one that cannot spoil or fade. You are a new, redeemed creation. You have an inheritance that is waiting for you–an eternal life lived in perfect relationship with God. It has been made secure by Jesus; it starts right now, and it is worth every step of the journey.

So press on. You are a pilgrim of hope. And you are never alone in your journey.

A Prayer of Jubilee:

As you prepare to continue your pilgrimage of the heart, take a moment to receive this prayer that was prayed for you by the late Pope Francis:

Father in heaven, may the faith you have given us in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother, and the flame of charity enkindled in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, reawaken in us the blessed hope for the coming of your Kingdom.

May your grace transform us into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel. May those seeds transform from within both humanity and the whole cosmos in the sure expectation of a new heaven and a new earth, when, with the powers of Evil vanquished, your glory will shine eternally.

May the grace of the Jubilee reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope, yearning for the treasures of heaven. May that same grace spread the joy and peace of our Redeemer throughout the earth.

To you, our God, eternally blessed, be glory and praise forever.
