Journey With Jesus 365નમૂનો

Has God ever done something wonderful in your life and you were excited to share it, but instead of others being happy with you, the response was the opposite?
This happened to Jesus, too! Matthew 21:15 tells us that “...when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did… they were sore displeased”. What things had he done? He healed the lame and the blind that came to him in the temple. Can you imagine anyone being upset about that? But that’s exactly what the chief priests and scribes did. How did Jesus respond? He responded by giving them the Word of God and leaving them to ponder it. Jesus quoted from Psalm 8 when he said: “have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise? And he left them, and went out of the city…” When others revile us for telling the wondrous works of God, the best response is to follow Jesus’ example, give them the Word to ponder and pray for them.
