Daniel - Standing Firmનમૂનો

Jesus told a story about a man who built his house on the rock and a man who built his house on the sand. When storms came, the house built on the rock stood firm and the house built on sand was washed away. Jesus said, “Obeying God is hearing His words and putting them into practice.” When we build on the right foundation, God and His Word, we are standing on a firm foundation. When the storms of life come, we can stay standing.

Daniel had built his life on God, a solid foundation. When he found himself in far away place and was put to the test, he knew he could trust in God and stand firm. We might find ourselves in places or positions where everyone around us seems to be making choices that don’t honor God. We can choose to go with the flow and be washed away, or we can stand firm on God, our solid foundation. We can stand firm and obey God no matter what others around us are doing.
