BREAK THE CHAINS
If prisoners are bound with chains on their hands and feet, even an open prison door cannot set them free. They remain trapped—not because the exit is unavailable, but because the chains restrict them to one spot. In the same way, many believers stand before open spiritual doors yet remain unable to move because unforgiveness holds them bound.
Mark 11:25 warns us to forgive before we pray, so that nothing stands between us and God. To access the open door of God’s forgiveness, you must first break the chains of unforgiveness that keep you anchored to bitterness. When Jesus died and the temple curtain was torn in two, freedom was released to all. We can now approach God boldly. But unforgiveness is the chain that keeps you from enjoying that freedom Jesus paid for with His blood (Colossians 3:13).
You may have been stuck in bitterness for far too long. The power to break free is already within you, but you may have allowed unforgiveness to weigh you down day after day. Today, choose courage. Choose obedience.
Summon the strength to BREAK THE CHAINS!
