21 Days Prayer & Fasting "Align in Promise"Näide

LIVING FOR GOD’S NAME, NOT OUR OWN
There are moments when we feel proud of what we’ve built through our own effort — a career, business, ministry, or reputation. We start to feel “significant” because of these achievements. But when everything suddenly collapses, our hearts begin to tremble, as if the identity we’ve carefully constructed disappears with it.
Many of us experience this tension: we say our lives are for God, yet deep inside, we strive to make sure our names are remembered. However, the purpose of a believer’s life is not to be known by the world, but for the world to know Christ through our lives.
The Apostle Paul declared, “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” This is not merely a comforting verse—it’s a declaration of true spiritual identity. When Christ lives in us, the center of our lives shifts: from self-driven ambition to Christ-driven purpose. We no longer work for recognition, but to reflect His glory.
God often allows “seasons of decrease”—times when we are humbled—not to harm us, but to redirect our hearts from chasing the spotlight to returning to the true Source of light. When we learn to surrender control, stop seeking human validation, and obey the prompting of the Holy Spirit, that’s when God restores us—not with worldly success, but with eternal glory.
To live for God’s name means to willingly become an empty vessel, used according to His will. When Jesus becomes greater and we become smaller, that’s when we discover the true meaning of life.
When you stop chasing recognition, your life begins to reflect His redemption.
REFLECTIVE QUESTIONS
● In what areas have I made achievements, ministry, or work the source of my self-worth?
● When I lose something that once made me feel valuable, do I still believe that God is in control?
● How can I guard my heart so that every work and story of my life truly brings glory to Jesus, not to myself?
PRAYER POINTS
● Give thanks that our true identity is not defined by accomplishments, but by who Christ is in us.
● Pray that our hearts remain pure—not seeking human validation, but God’s approval alone.
● Ask that every talent, work, and journey of our lives be used to glorify God and bless many people.
