21 Days Prayer & Fasting "Align in Promise"

DAY 12 OF 21

STAY ACTIVE IN THE WAITING SEASON

God’s answers to our prayers can come in three ways: “yes,” “no,” or “wait.”
“Yes” — when it aligns with His will.
“No” — when it goes against His will, could harm us or others, or hinder our relationship with Him.
“Wait” — when the time is not yet right. God always works in perfect timing.

The Lord is never late. In fact, during the waiting season, He is pruning, shaping, and equipping us so that we can handle the blessings or answers that are coming. The Psalmist reminds us to stay strong and courageous, because waiting is often the time when many begin to lose faith in God’s promises.

The prophet Isaiah also declares that those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength — they will soar on wings like eagles, run and not grow weary, walk and not faint. We need to change our perspective on “waiting.” It is not a stagnant period, but a season of growth. Waiting time is not wasted time; it is a training ground for faith.

Just like Abraham, who continued to obey, build altars, and walk with God even when the promise had not yet been fulfilled, we too are called to stay active in faith. The waiting season is an opportunity to deepen our prayer life, strengthen our faith, practice faithfulness, and prepare our hearts to receive God’s promises with greater capacity.

Waiting time is never wasted time; it is faith’s training ground.
