21 Days Prayer & Fasting "Align in Promise"

DAY 11 OF 21

BUILDING AN ETERNAL LEGACY

Every decision we make today shapes the future — not only for ourselves but also for the generations after us. God’s Word reminds us that a good person leaves behind not only material wealth but also a spiritual and moral inheritance that endures for their children and grandchildren.

Building an eternal legacy is not about accumulating possessions or seeking recognition; it is about passing on values, faith, and a godly example. When we live faithfully, honor God in our choices, and invest in the lives of others, we are planting seeds that will continue to grow long after we are gone. Abraham is a living example — his faith and obedience built a covenant legacy that blessed many generations.

Likewise, we are called to live with eternal purpose. Even simple acts like praying, showing love, or teaching the truth can become bricks in building a spiritual legacy. The world often pushes us to chase short-term goals like career, comfort, and financial stability. However, all of these will fade away.

What will remain is the eternal impact we leave through our love for God, service to others, and our living faith. True legacy is not measured by what we leave for others, but by what we leave within them. As we walk faithfully with God today, we are laying the foundation for an eternal legacy that will live on in future generations.

The greatest legacy one can pass on to children and grandchildren is not money or material things, but a legacy of character and faith. (Billy Graham)
