How to Set Goals With God

DAY 4 OF 7

Day 4: Persevere Through Challenges

At the beginning of Jeremiah’s prophetic ministry, God warned Jeremiah that he would face significant opposition from kings, priests, and the people because of the messages of judgment he was called to deliver. However, God promised to protect him. Jeremiah’s mission would be fraught with difficulties, but God’s assurance of His presence and deliverance encouraged Jeremiah to remain steadfast.

Jeremiah was called to be strong. His ministry was not an easy one. Babylon is a power at the time that is oppressing Israel. They have been creating alliances with nations that would keep them prosperous and secure the future of their welfare. God is offended when you don’t trust him. He brought them out of bondage, and now they are seeking human protection and provisions. Jeremiah’s ministry is against all inequities, but the people brought insult to injury.

Jeremiah faced immense opposition, but God promised to cover and sustain him.

Like Jeremiah, you may encounter resistance or obstacles as you pursue your goals.

Challenges are inevitable, but God equips you with perseverance. He’s not finished with you yet. Your goals may encounter delays or opposition, but remain steadfast. Excellence requires sacrifice and surrender, so you must persevere knowing that God equips and strengthens you for the journey ahead. He will rescue and sustain you in your pursuit of His purpose.

Prayer Prompt: God, give me the strength to persevere through challenges. Remind me that You are with me, and I am not alone.

Focal Point: Recognize that challenges will come, but trust in God’s promise to sustain you.

Main Objective: Anchor yourself in prayer and Scripture when facing obstacles. Use setbacks as opportunities to grow closer to God.

Action Step: Identify potential obstacles that could stall progress toward your goals. Match them with strategies to overcome any adversity.
