The PassionNäide

What has been the most important moment of your life? High School graduation? Walking down the aisle on your wedding day? Becoming a parent? Maybe it's the day you were born?
Today, we read what that moment really was. It actually happened before you were born. Jesus rose from the dead. On that day, the three most consequential words in history were uttered: "he has risen". Jesus walked out of the tomb and left your sin and death in the grave.
You and I get to reap the benefits of all Jesus did. We get to be caught up in the victory parade of what Jesus has done. By trusting Him, you get to live every day, even today, free from sin and with no fear of death.
So enjoy today. The most important thing in your life has already happened to you. Jesus has won. Death is defeated.
Today, ponder this: How can you celebrate Jesus' victory today? What struggles are you facing that need to hear that they don’t have a hold on you forever? Jesus has won, and you're going to walk in that victory today.
