The Bible's Business Plan

DAY 22 OF 31

“If you help the poor, you are lending to the LORD—and he will repay you!” Proverbs 19:17 NLT

BUSINESS BIBLE

In business, success brings responsibility. Successful individuals and companies are responsible for supporting and meeting their community’s needs, especially the poor. The poor are the widow, orphan, foreigner, and prisoner because they have no economic means or rights.

In the Bible, there is a process for Redeeming the Poor that includes charity, employment, and investment. Charity is relief and provides for immediate needs such as food and shelter. Employment and jobs provide wages that pay debts and living expenses. Finally, investment funds business and trade to support families and the community.

Redeeming the Poor takes generosity, hard work, and capital. Business provides all of these. So, let’s work hard and give generously!

PRAY

Lord, help me to be kind and Redeem the Poor.
