In One Name
There is no name that transforms, restores or unites like the name of Jesus. The book of Acts records the miraculous ways that God, through the Holy Spirit, brought people of different backgrounds and beliefs to Himself. United, they lived in one accord, honouring God and living according to His will and leading. Two thousand years later, God continues to bring people to Himself and unites them in Jesus’ name. He has given us His Holy Bible to lean on. He has shown us how the apostles, disciples and prophets lived as examples to follow. And He has shown us, in His Word, His heart and direction for us. As followers of Jesus, we are the Church. We are His beloved bride, and it is He who unites us and brings us together. It is Jesus who helps us to love our enemies, to pray for those who persecute us, and to seek peace with others.
Each of us is part of a bigger story and a bigger spiritual family, one that we should be seeking to lovingly grow. We are His dwelling place, so we must intentionally seek God’s heart, correction and direction. We need to be united around God’s heart, and united in our pursuit to honour God, glorify His name, and point as many people as possible to Jesus. As we go about days and weeks, may we be open to God’s leading, loving correction and divine opportunities to show His love to others.

About this Plan

We may all look different, talk different and have different dreams, but we have all been created in the image of God. As believers, we are invited to become members of the Body of Christ, and this Bible plan gives us some ideas of how this might look as we interact with family, friends and the wider community, whilst maintaining our God given individuality.
