16 Characteristics of the God-Kind of Love - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

DAY 12 OF 16

Day 12 – Love bears all things

If you see someone in love with another person, ask them intentionally why they love that person. If the love is genuine, there’ll be no reason attached to it. The reason I say this is that even before God created man, He still loved him. Today, even though evil is still prevalent in the world, God still loves everyone to the extent that He sends and pays people to turn the unsaved unto righteousness.

In 1 Corinthians 13:7, the Bible says love bears all things. That implies genuine love, powered by God, is able to stand strong even when conditions aren’t good enough. That is what powers most godly marriages, especially at the beginning stages, where not all things look so rosy. Love can withstand bad conditions without giving up. And sometimes, you may not even realize that God’s love within you can do that until something happens in your life that prompts others to question your faith.

No matter the issues of life you are facing right now, choose not to give up. Even when people suggest shortcuts to you that will lead you to stray from God’s path, choose to still trust God. He is faithful and will see you through every challenge.
