Perseverance & Endurance - Holding Onto Hope in Times of ChallengeNäide

In John’s revelatory vision in Revelation chapters 2 and 3, he is instructed to write what he sees. He is given instruction to 7 churches. Each church is commended and convicted and then John writes about the 'one who overcomes’. Each church is promised a blessing for its perseverance.
Perseverance costs us time and commitment. As you read today, ask the Lord for revelation of his promises to you.

About this Plan

No-one likes to suffer. It isn’t a pleasant experience. It is painful, uncomfortable and a place to get out of as quickly as possible. However, there is one thing Jesus promised that we often skim over - ‘In this world you will have trouble.’ – John 16:33. So, what is our stance when trouble comes our way? Let us take a journey into what it means to persevere and endure so that when we face times of testing, we do so with the right heart posture.
