Be Still: 30 Days to Revive Your Prayer LifeNäide

Praying Would Be Easier If…
When was the last time you said, “Let’s take a moment to pray together,” with your friends or family?
We’re among friends, so we can be open and honest: For some strange reason, it always takes a bit of courage. Even for me! When we recently got together as a family and spent the whole day together, my mom nudged me that evening and said, “It would be nice if we prayed together…”
With my nephews on my lap and my siblings around me, we started to pray, and it was so special—it felt like a moment that changed something for the better in the unseen world. Truly!
When I prayed for my younger nephew, who is starting kindergarten, and my older nephew, who’s starting school, and said, “Protect them, Lord!” it was as if I could literally feel God sending angels to guard my nephews against any upcoming danger! It was so powerful that I broke down in tears!
THIS is what happens when we pray! And it didn’t happen because I, Deborah, prayed particularly powerfully—it happened because God is all-powerful! All-powerful means God has unlimited power! And people who pray experience God’s power!
“The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power.” (James 5:16 NLT). And if you’re doubting now (I know that feeling): Do I, belong to that group? I make so many mistakes…then let me reassure you:
“All the world stands guilty before God… So it’s clear that no one can be made right with God by doing what the law commands. We are made right with God only by placing our faith in Jesus Christ.” (Romans 3:19, 28 NLT).
It only takes one person—you—to bravely say, “Shall we take a moment to pray for each other?” to make a positive change in the unseen world.
With this knowledge, you won’t want to miss any opportunity to pray with your family and friends, will you?
You are a miracle!
