Be Still: 30 Days to Revive Your Prayer LifeNäide

You Are Valuable!
DO YOU BELIEVE that you are valuable? Really? Truly?
And what would that mean in reverse? Would it be right to think of yourself the way you do right now? Would it be right to treat yourself and your body the way you are treating them now?
These are questions that really matter. Questions that you should ask yourself. And because I know that heavenly support is needed to learn to love oneself, I also know that prayer is essential in this process. That’s why I want to pray with you today:
“Father, Your Word says:
‘...for in Your eyes, my life is valuable!’ (from Psalm 72:14 NLT)
My life is valuable to You—what wonderful words to start the morning! Yes, I am valuable to You. I need to truly understand this, and I want to reflect on it today.
Because it means SO MUCH MORE than I can perceive in this moment. But what would that mean for me, Father?
If my life is precious to You, then I should also treat this life You have given me with greater care. I’m sorry if I haven’t done that so far, if I haven’t valued my life enough.
Father, I want to treat myself and my body better!
Thank You for these comforting words today. Thank You that, despite caring for the whole world, You also care for me personally.
I want to recognize the value of my life that You have given it.
Thank You for being You, Father! Thank You for being in my life! Amen.”
YOU are valuable!
You are a miracle!
