Faith @ WorkNäide

God has brought you to this point in your life. He is fully aware of what was happening in the world and in your life as you grew up. God knows the joys and heartaches you’ve experienced in your life and career. He has been with you every step of your life, blessing you with wisdom, understanding, and knowledge. He has brought you to this present stage in your life.
God says to you today, “My child, I love you. I am with you! I know what is going on in your workplace and in the world. I am in control. My grace is sufficient for you today. Enjoy the blessings of this moment!”
As you prepare for today, you have no need to be afraid, for God brought you to this workplace at this time, and he promised never to leave you or forsake you. Continue to seek God, his kingdom, and his righteousness. Embrace his commands. Trust in his goodness. When tomorrow comes, God will provide you with the strength to face the new day.
Whatever happens today is totally under God’s control and is not a surprise to him. He blessed you with the talents and skills to handle each new situation. As new situations and challenges arise at work or in your life, he will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able. God is preparing you right now for what is next in your life.
What do you need to do to prepare for today? Are there things you need to stop doing, are there things you need to get rid of, are there new skills you need to learn, or are there people you need to talk to?
Prayer
Almighty God, thank you that you have been with me every day of my life. Forgive me for those things that have crept into my life that keep me from worshipping you. Thank you for the wonderful, diverse group of people that I work with, and the unique gifts you have given each one of them. Lord, I place my future in your hands. Give me the wisdom to use my time today wisely. Amen.
