Let God Take You by the HandNäide

No snatchers allowed!
Have you ever had to defend something you were holding tight in your hand? Maybe your phone when someone tried to snatch it, or a toy you were fighting over with a sibling?
The Bible says that God holds us in His hand so tightly that no one can snatch us out of it:
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” – John 10:27-30 NIV
There is no one more protective of you than your Heavenly Father. He holds you securely, and nothing—absolutely nothing—can take you away from Him.
But it gets even better. Isaiah reveals that God has engraved us on the palm of His hand. That means He will never forget us!
Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. – Isaiah 49:15-16 NIV
Theologian Charles Spurgeon says about this verse:
It says, “I have engraved you.” It does not say, “your name.”
The name is there, but that is not all: “I have engraved you.” Consider the depth of this! “I have engraved your person, your image, your circumstances, your sins, your temptations, your weaknesses, your wants, your works; I have engraved you, everything about you, all that concerns you; I have put all of this together here.” – Charles Spurgeon
Your Heavenly Father is absolutely crazy about you. He loves you fiercely, protects you relentlessly, and will never forget you—not a single part of you.
Rest in that today. ❤️
