Christ Over Everything - ColossiansNäide

Theme: Clothe Yourself with Christ
After putting off the old self, Paul now calls us to put on the character of Christ. Compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience aren’t just personality traits—they’re spiritual garments that reflect Jesus to the world.
These virtues are essential for healthy relationships, especially within the church. Paul says we must bear with one another and forgive, just as the Lord forgave us. Forgiveness isn’t easy, but it’s the standard set by Christ Himself.
Above all, we are to put on love, which binds everything together in perfect unity. Love isn’t just a feeling—it’s the glue that holds the community of faith together. Without love, even the most spiritual-sounding actions fall flat.
Daily Application: Choose one of these traits—compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, or patience—and intentionally practice it today in your interactions. Ask God to clothe you in His love.
