Christ Over Everything - ColossiansNäide

Theme: Christ in the Home
Paul now brings the focus to household relationships—marriage and parenting. These verses can feel countercultural, but when understood through the lens of Christ’s love and mutual respect, they are life-giving.
Wives are called to submit as is fitting in the Lord—not from inferiority, but from strength and honor. Husbands are called to love sacrificially and never with harshness. These roles are not about control, but about reflecting Christ’s love and unity in the home.
Children are to obey, and fathers are to lead with patience, not provoking frustration. The family is a training ground for discipleship. When Christ is at the center, the home becomes a place of grace, growth, and peace.
Daily Application: Pray over your family or household today. Ask God to help you reflect His love, humility, and patience in every role you hold—spouse, parent, child, or friend.
