Christ Over Everything - ColossiansNäide

Theme: Holding Fast to the Head
Paul warns the Colossians not to let anyone judge them by external religious practices—diet, festivals, or sabbaths. These things were shadows; the substance is Christ. Rules and rituals can’t produce righteousness—only a relationship with Jesus can.
He also warns against spiritual pride and mysticism—people delighting in visions or false humility, disconnected from the Head, who is Christ. When people focus more on spiritual experiences than on Jesus Himself, it leads to disconnection and division.
True growth comes from holding fast to Christ. He is the Head of the Church, and from Him the whole body is nourished and knit together. When you stay connected to Him, you grow in grace and truth.
Daily Application: Ask yourself: Am I more focused on rules, feelings, or Christ Himself? Take time today to simply worship Jesus and renew your connection to the Head.
