We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodNäide

Day 86 of 365
In Deuteronomy 8, Moses reminds Israel of the sustaining power of God’s Word, which guided them through their wilderness journey. God’s Word is not just advice or guidance; it is the very foundation of our lives, a wellspring of strength and wisdom. The Holy Spirit brings Scripture alive within us, equipping us to face life’s challenges with the same confidence and authority that Jesus displayed when He confronted the enemy in the wilderness, using Scripture to counter every temptation.
In Luke 4, Jesus relies on God’s Word as His weapon against temptation, demonstrating that Scripture is our shield and sword. The Spirit teaches us to wield the Word with confidence, to stand firm on its promises, and to draw strength from its truths.
Today, ask the Spirit to root you deeply in God’s Word. Let Him empower you to overcome challenges and stand firm in faith, knowing that God’s promises are unbreakable and His Word will guide you through every trial.
