The Comeback KidNäide

Imagine feeling weighed down, like you’re carrying a heavy backpack full of rocks. Then someone comes along, takes off the backpack, and suddenly, you’re free to move. That’s what Jesus does for us! He frees us from what weighs us down—things like guilt, fear, and uncertainty. But walking with Christ isn’t always easy. Even though we’re free, life can still feel heavy. Sometimes, we even pick up the backpack again, filling it with old habits and worries. Walking with Jesus doesn’t mean life is always easy, but it does mean that we don’t have to carry those heavy things anymore. Choosing Jesus is a daily commitment. It’s not always simple, but His love is constant. He never gives up on us, and with His strength, we can keep choosing to live in the freedom He gives.
This week, ask Jesus to help you let go of the things that weigh you down.
