The Comeback KidNäide

Have you ever done something for someone without expecting anything back? Maybe you helped a friend with their homework just because you wanted to see them succeed. Or maybe you invited someone who was sitting alone to hang out with your group because you know what it’s like to feel left out. Maybe you drove someone around when they needed a ride. The point isn’t what you did; it’s why you did it! See, Jesus tells us to live like that—to serve and love others, not because we want recognition but simply because it’s how we can love as He loves us. Think about it: Jesus spent His entire life putting others first. When He died on the cross, He gave us the ultimate example of selfless love.
This week, challenge yourself to serve someone the way Jesus would. Be kind to a stranger, help your family out, or show compassion to a friend who’s hurting.
