A Year in Luke/ActsNäide

This week we will be studying Luke chapter 11. We are in the middle of Jesus’s journey to Jerusalem, looking at his teachings and ministry. Jesus continually points back to the work God started in his people, the Israelites, and how God used Jonah to bring the Ninevites into repentance.
Previously, God revealed himself to his people as a Father, Redeemer, and Savior. In Luke, we see how Jesus is the present-day fulfillment of the work God began so many years before. Jesus has brought us hope through his death and resurrection.
We must remember the work God began and fulfilled through Jesus Christ and that this same God is still alive and working today in and through his people!
