Bible in 90 Days (B90)Näide

Day 23 • Summary • 2 Samuel 17 – 1 Kings 1
The civil war begun by Absalom ends with his tragic death. David’s final years are marked by continued internal and external conflict. As his final days approach, David offers a beautiful Song of Praise to the LORD and delivers his last words. His foolish decision to number his fighting men leads to God’s discipline. 1 Kings opens with a challenge to David’s succession by his son, Adonijah, to which David responds by quickly making Solomon king.
