Sit with your breath today. Breathe in and count four and then exhale. With each exhale repeat the phrase “Salvation belongs to our God.” Allow this phrase to settle with your breathing for a few minutes and simply focus on those words in rhythm with your breath.

As a church of belonging, we are called to be in community with each other and God: on earth as it is in heaven. In seasons when division feels near, Scripture reminds us that the spirit of belonging is a constant call to redemption and salvation for all. How can you respond to the call of belonging in your local church community?

God of belonging, may the church on earth be that which models the spirit of community in heaven. May all in my local community know that they too are called to this promise of belonging, and may I model that spirit of redemption and salvation in my daily life.
