Developing Christian VirtuesNäide

Knowledge (Epignosis)
Knowledge, or "epignosis," does not merely refer to an accumulation of information about God, but to an intimate and experiential knowledge of who He is. This type of knowledge can only be acquired through a continuous and deep relationship with God, through His Word and prayer. Peter exhorts us to add knowledge to our virtue because understanding who God is and what He desires for our lives is essential for spiritual growth. This knowledge enables us to make wise decisions and live in a way that pleases God. By seeking this knowledge, we learn more about God's will and how to apply His teachings in our daily lives.
Reflection Question: In what ways can I deepen my knowledge of God to grow spiritually?
