Waiting Through Advent With IsaiahNäide

Today we see the first stanza of O Come, O Come, Emmanuel from verse 14.
O come, O come, Emmanuel,
and ransom captive Israel
that mourns in lonely exile here
until the Son of God appear.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to you, O Israel.
What are the areas of captivity you see in your life?
Can you relate to being lonely and mourning? How does this look in your daily life?
Take those experiences to the Lord today.

About this Plan

As we head into the season of Advent, it’s easy to be swept away with all the plans of Christmas, family times, food, and gifts. It's also full of emotions, pain, and loss for many of us. Advent is a season of waiting. Trusting in a good God who holds our times and seasons. Advent. Wait. Hope.
