Waiting Through Advent With IsaiahNäide

As you read the birth story of Jesus, pray to read with fresh eyes. Imagine both Mary and Joseph being very familiar with the book of Isaiah. They had grown up in the "now" and were on the brink of the hope coming in the flesh!
Has anything stood out to you from this reading?
Scripture says that Mary thought about "these things" over and over again.
Today- how can you practice thinking often about the miracle of this birth?

About this Plan

As we head into the season of Advent, it’s easy to be swept away with all the plans of Christmas, family times, food, and gifts. It's also full of emotions, pain, and loss for many of us. Advent is a season of waiting. Trusting in a good God who holds our times and seasons. Advent. Wait. Hope.
