Change Of Course

Repentance in the Bible literally means to convert, “turn around,” “change your course” or even “change your mind”. It's the famous metanoia. You know when you're following a path and then you need to convert to change your direction. It's almost the same thing, but not so simple and not so superficial.

Repentance implies making a radical decision in our life: you are living one way and you come to understand the error of living in that direction. Then you decide to completely change your course and to live in a way that pleases God. Metanoia is a change of mind (of thoughts) that leads us to an inevitable change of direction.
