Real Hope: ForgivenessNäide

Bring It to Him
Read these verses again, slowly. Consider what David says about God: He is known, compassionate, gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love, does not treat us as our sins deserve; there is no repayment; His love for us is great; as far as the east is from the west, He has removed our sins from us.
I have written this before, and I’m writing it again: you can always approach God about anything–any sin, any action or inaction, any word said or unsaid, bring it to God. You don’t have to do anything or be anything to come before God. We are always good enough, and loved by God more than we can imagine. Don’t be deceived by any other thinking . . . ever.
When we come before Him to seek forgiveness, God hears our prayer and removes our sins from us, as far as the east is from the west. Bring your sins before the Lord and seek forgiveness. He hears you and promises to forgive. Leave them behind with Him. That is enough, and that is all we need. You can bring what is on your heart to God, right now. Go on, bring your burdens to Him.
